Weekly Patrol Meetings

 

Weekly patrol meetings in Scouts BSA play a pivotal role in shaping the Scouting experience, fostering camaraderie, developing leadership skills, and enhancing Scouting experiences for Scouts of all ages. These meetings provide a dedicated time for Scouts to connect with their fellow patrol members, plan and execute patrol activities, and reflect on their Scouting experiences, all within a supportive and engaging environment.

Tuesday evenings at 7pm.

Monthly Unit Outings

 

Scouts BSA monthly outings offer a diverse range of activities, including hiking, camping, water activities, community service projects, and cultural and educational excursions. These outings promote teamwork, leadership, and skill development, creating unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories for Scouts.

Summer Camp

Scouts BSA Summer Camp is an annual event that provides Scouts with an opportunity to develop their Scouting skills, enjoy outdoor activities, and build camaraderie with fellow Scouts. Summer camp is a highlight of the Scouting year, offering a unique and memorable experience that can last a lifetime.

Activities at Scouts BSA Summer Camp

Summer camps typically offer a wide variety of activities, including:

  • Merit badge workshops: Scouts can earn merit badges in a variety of subjects, such as camping, cooking, archery, and fishing.

  • Outdoor adventures: Scouts can participate in activities such as hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, and rock climbing.

  • Campfire programs: Scouts gather around the campfire for singing, skits, and stories.

  • Scoutcraft skills: Scouts learn and practice Scoutcraft skills such as knot-tying, fire building, and compass use.

  • Free time: Scouts have time to relax, play games, and socialize with their friends.
